Representative Russell Fry (SC-07) Introduces Resolution Reaffirming United States Support for Israel on One Year Anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 Attack

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Representative Russell Fry (SC-07) introduced a resolution reaffirming the United States’ commitment to supporting Israel one year after the October 7th, 2023 terrorist attacks.  This resolution is cosponsored by Representatives Jerry Carl (AL-01), Andy Biggs (AZ-05), John Duarte (CA-13), Darrell Issa (CA-48), Vern Buchanan (FL-16), Zach Nunn (IA-03), Erin Houchin (IN-09), Brett Guthrie (KY-01), Michael Guest (MS-03), Dan Bishop (NC-08), Mike Kelly (PA-16), Nathaniel Moran (TX-01), Dan Crenshaw (TX-02), and Carol Miller (WV-01).

On October 7th, 2023, Hamas launched a savage attack on Israel, killing over 1,000 innocent men, women, and children. Throughout the last year, Israel has been subjected to relentless attacks, and countless families are still waiting for their loved ones who are being held hostage to be released.

“We will never forget the atrocities of Hamas’ attack on Israel one year ago today, the lives lost, and those still in captivity,” said Representative Fry. “This gross act of terrorism and antisemitism should be unequivocally condemned, and we should do everything in our power to ensure Israel has the support they need. Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East, and I will continue to stand with them.”
